Meet the winemaker in his element!

Discover the art of winemaking by meeting the winemaker in his element. You will be welcomed into a winery, where the wooden tuns stand majestically. Your on-site tour will give you an insight into winemaking practices, as well as the machinery used to produce exceptional wines.

You will also have the chance to meet the Moritz family of winemakers, who will be happy to share their experience and knowledge with you. Your host will be available to answer any questions you may have, and you will be able to discuss viticultural practices with him.

Once the guided tour is over, it’s time for a tasting! In the barrel cellar, you will be able to taste 5 different wines, including at least one Grand Cru or Crémant. This will be the ideal opportunity to discover the excellent terroirs of Andlau and its surroundings, as well as the subtleties of each grape variety.

This activity is not only very enriching in terms of wine, but it will also allow you to meet people who are passionate about their profession. The visit will be commented and followed by a discussion, so that you can learn more about the history of the winemaking family and their production techniques.
