Afternoon – Visit to the Verdun Battlefield
Discovery of the Verdun battlefield with Vincent, guide-lecturer.
You will discover the battlefield of Verdun accompanied by Vincent, who will share his passion for history in a visit from 2pm to 6pm.
Understanding the site and the battle of Verdun through a guided tour with commentary by a guide-lecturer, that changes everything!
You will discover the Verdun battlefield: your guided tour will start with the Douaumont fort, then go to the Douaumont Ossuary and the Fleury-devant-Douaumont Necropolis.
The day will end with a guided tour of the Verdun Memorial (battle museum).
The journey between each site is done with your personal vehicle.
Please note that only 15 places are available in order to guarantee the quality of the visit in small groups!

Program of the day:
1:45 pm: Meeting point at the parking lot of the Fort of Douaumont
2:00 pm: guided and commented visit of the Fort of Douaumont
3:45 pm: visit of the Ossuary of Douaumont and the Necropolis of Fleury-devant-Douaumont.
4:30 pm: guided and commented visit of the Verdun Memorial (battle museum).
6:00 pm: end of the visit. The journey between each site is done with your personal vehicle.
