Take a guided car tour of the Bois des Caures to discover the most famous sites on the mythical Verdun battlefield.
The tour begins with the trenches, craters and shelters of the Bois des Caures. You’ll discover authentic places where the first battles took place, accompanied by the exceptional accounts of Driant’s hunters.
Further north, in Ville devant Chaumont, just a stone’s throw from the front, you’ll discover one of the 30 German necropolises in the département. The visit to the Champ de Bataille continues at the heart of the ruins of the village of Ornes, at the foot of the miraculous columns of a Romanesque church, where the tour comes to an end!
You will be asked to use your own vehicle to reach the various points.
