Offered by the Office de Tourisme de l’Ouest des Vosges, the tour will tell you all about its history. You’ll also discover the stories of Joan’s life, told through paintings hung in the basilica.
The Basilique Sainte-Jeanne d’Arc is an architectural masterpiece overlooking the Meuse valley. The edifice was built on a famous square, the place where Jeanne liked to stroll and where she is said to have heard voices.
Steeped in history, the basilica is home to 8 valiant paintings marking the life of Jeanne, a local child. In addition to a tour of the building, the package includes a visit by a local from the West Vosges region.
