Guided tour – “The Strasbourg Astronomical Observatory
If you’re a science and astronomy enthusiast, why not take a guided tour of the Jardin des Sciences’ Strasbourg Astronomical Observatory. Located on Strasbourg’s university campus, this famous space is in the Neustadt cultural district, right next to Strasbourg’s Planetarium, museums and gardens.
At the Strasbourg Astronomical Observatory, you’ll discover an unsuspected wealth of scientific collections. You’ll be able to admire the French and German scientific compendia on display, as well as the evolution of astronomical sciences and disciplines since the late 19th century.
Take a guided tour of this exceptional site. On the program, discover the architectural and astronomical heritage of the site, reflected in its buildings and scientific instruments. You’ll also discover the renovated Coronelli globe.
The tour is suitable for anyone over the age of 12, but not for young children or people with reduced mobility.
