Become an animal keeper for a day at Amnéville Zoo – Adult

Ideally nestled in the heart of the Amnéville tourist area, the Parc Zoologique is one of Moselle's must-see attractions. For half a day, you can slip into the shoes of the zoo's caretakers for a fun, educational and responsible experience with the animals.

Just a stone's throw from Metz, the park covers 18 hectares and is home to over 360 species from five continents. Preparing rations, cleaning enclosures, caring for animals, feeding... Here you go for 3h30 up close and personal with the park's inhabitants!

Your program:

• You'll learn how to clean the rhinoceros plains and night building.
• You'll take part in an animal walk on the African Plain, and have the chance to meet our group of giraffes.
• Attend a training session with our African elephants or sea lions.
• And finally, you'll feed our radiata tortoises.

This half-day training course in the role of animal caretaker is a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of animals and to raise your awareness of the importance of animal care professions. Take advantage of this great experience, accessible to people aged 15 and over, to discover the zoo and the 2,000 animals from 5 continents that live here. Located in the Grand Est region of France, the park is one of the few zoos in France to house giant gorillas and orangutans.
