Day at Argonne Discovery Park

In the heart of the Ardennes forest, at Olizy-Primat, the Argonne Découverte park opens its doors and invites you to explore its verdant landscapes. For a whole day, you can wander around the ten hectares or so of parkland set aside for the well-being of our animal friends, fill up on oxygen and take part in a variety of activities.

When you arrive, you'll be greeted by a receptionist who will be happy to tell you about the day's program. When you're not busy feeding the farm animals or watching the bird show, you're free to wander the woods and observe other species.

Don't delay, wander between the trees and keep a low profile so as not to scare off the wolves. If you're patient, you might just catch a glimpse of them standing majestically among the trees. While they're feeding, the animal handlers will help you get to know the life of the pack. A time when you can ask them any questions you may have. Then take a look around the raccoon enclosure and see how these fur balls are quick to poke their noses out of the hut to meet you.
Finally, if you're not afraid of the dark and love reptiles and other nocturnal animals, head for Nocturnia and Le Théâtre du Vivant. In the middle of this vast dark space, try to make out the genets, reptiles and bats through the glass.
