Monkey Mountain
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Barbary Macaques at La Montagne des Singes in Kintzheim, Alsace. Here, since 1969, the park has amazed young and old alike, from generation to generation. The visitor experience is unique.
Here you are at the heart of a "responsible" leisure park. Our guides will introduce you to the park, its role and its guests. Here, the aim is to better understand the species so as to better protect it.
You'll find yourself listening to the sounds of nature, as well as the cries, and discovering the social interactions between young and old. You'll smile at the acrobatics of the young and the phlegm of the old. You're visiting another world, theirs!
The 24-hectare forest allows you to observe the animals in conditions close to the wild.
Your curiosity is aroused... The guides answer all your questions, and then it's feeding time. Slowly and surely, you come to understand the responsible and educational nature of the site. You tell yourself that you, too, can do your bit to help save the flora and fauna.
Then your gaze returns to the group. There, between two males, a ball of fur smaller than the others. As touching as you could wish, the little "rascal" hides, looks at you, hides... It's one of the year's young. Look at his eyes and watch yourself smile.
This and much more is Monkey Mountain.
