Soigneur d’un jour au Zoo d’Amnéville – Birds

Are you passionate about birds? Become an animal keeper for a day at Amnéville Zoo! Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of birds of prey and discover the daily life of an animal caretaker. This unique experience will immerse you in the heart of the ornithological world!

This 2-hour activity will introduce you to the profession of falconer, and allow you to get up close and personal with fascinating species. In small groups, you’ll experience real-life immersion in direct contact with birds, and learn how to fly a bird of prey.

Put on the costume of a falconer from the Wings of the World show and explore the world of modern falconry. You’ll handle birds on your arm, maintain the aviaries at Les Ailes du Monde and help weigh the birds of prey. A forest walk and a free-flight training session are also on the program.

Meet Harris’s hawks, great horned owls, parrots and many other species, each evolving according to its own mood. Remember, however, that animal welfare is a priority, and the program may be modified to suit zootechnical requirements.

This activity is open to everyone aged 15 and over, and includes admission to the park for the day. Access to the backstage area is not permitted for accompanying adults, and their entrance fees are not included. Closed-toe shoes and pants must be worn.
