The descent takes you through a forest of beech and fir trees, where you can admire breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and lakes.

Your hike begins at the Auberge du Breitzhousen, where a qualified guide awaits you for an introduction to the route and equipment. After reaching the summit of Rothenbachkopf and enjoying the panoramic views, you’ll begin the descent. This walk lasts around 2 hours and includes professional supervision, snacks, snowshoes and poles. The activity is not recommended for people with heart problems, nor is it accessible to people with reduced mobility.
