Mountain biking down a valley

Looking for an exhilarating adventure in the heart of nature? Take a mountain bike ride down the valley with a local guide. It’s an original way to explore the upper Weiss valley, passing through La Béhine, the hamlets of Orbey and the village of Le Bonhomme.

With a route ranging from 12 to 20 km and a negative altitude difference of 600 m, this descent is ideal for mountain bikers. The positive difference in altitude remains low, between 0 and 150 m depending on the route chosen. This adventure doesn’t require any particular technical skills; you just need to be able to control your bike on slopes with a few minor obstacles. The key is to be comfortable on a mountain bike and to know how to control your speed.

For a safe and enjoyable descent, you’ll need a suitable bike, helmet and repair kit. Meet at 10:15 a.m. or 2:15 p.m. at Jacky Sport bike rental, 348 Lac Blanc. The tour departs at 10:30 or 14:30, arriving at Orbey Village or Bonhomme Village at 12:15 or 16:15. Free parking is available.
