New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Eve snowshoeing at Hohneck

Celebrate the transition to the New Year in a unique way with Destination Sport Nature! Take part in a night-time snowshoe walk and immerse yourself in the magic of the Hohneck during an exceptional evening! Your adventure will be supervised by a professional mountain guide.

Start your journey at the Col de la Schlucht, in front of the Tétras, where an experienced guide will equip you and give you a full briefing on the route. Then set off to conquer the Hohneck, the 3rd highest peak in the Vosges mountains! From its heights, you’ll enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, Lac de Longemer, the Alsace plain, the Black Forest and the Alps.

To mark the occasion, a glass of Crémant d’Alsace will be served on the Martinswald belvedere, from which the view will be breathtaking. After this warm moment, you’ll enjoy a gentle descent back to the starting point, through a beautiful forest of fir and spruce trees.

This special New Year’s Eve offer is per person (adult) and lasts 3 hours. It includes supervision by a mountain professional, as well as the necessary equipment (snowshoes, poles and torches in case of snow). Crémant d’Alsace and a hot drink during the outing are also included, and free parking is available.

The activity is accessible to all levels and physical conditions, with the exception of people with heart problems and those with reduced mobility.
