Snowshoeing on New Year’s Day at Champ du Feu
Welcome the New Year in a different way, by venturing into the snowy landscapes of Champ du Feu! Destination Sport Nature has put together a unique snowshoe walk for you. An adventure guided by a professional, who will reveal the flora and fauna of the Vosges mountains in all their splendour.
Meet up at the Champ du Feu station, where your guide will be waiting for you. He’ll explain the program for your outing, before taking you to the heights of the Bas-Rhin. The Champ du Feu, the highest point in the region, offers spectacular views over the Alsatian valley. It’s also a must-see for astronomy enthusiasts. Lasting around 3 hours, your walk continues through an enchanting fir forest. And to round off your walk, a glass of Crémant d’Alsace will be served in the heart of nature near the Tour du Champ du Feu.
This offer includes supervision by a state-qualified professional, the necessary equipment (snowshoes and poles), and torches to light your way in case of snow.
