Twilight snowshoe adventure and tasting in a forest cabin

Be careful with your vehicles, which must be equipped according to mountain law from October 31 to March 31, as the roads can be very snowy even if there's nothing or rain in the valley. Make sure you have the necessary equipment, such as snow tires or 4-season tires + chains. Beware of the GPS, which often takes you to the shortest distance. Many mountain roads are forest roads that are not cleared of snow, or are even closed in winter.

- A small hiking backpack with a water bottle (beware that water can freeze, or a 50cl to 1-liter thermos depending on your habits) - A pair of waterproof hiking boots (mandatory for the snowshoe attachment on the ankle) or snow boots with warm ski socks - Warm hiking clothes adapted to winter mountain weather (it can feel like -10°), (for example, you can wear leggings + jogging pants over them if you don't have special snow pants) - Ski jacket or warm fleece vest + goretex jacket - Ski gloves or mittens, hat, neck warmer, sunglasses, sun cream - You can take a full change of shoes in your car if the weather is wet.
