Located in front of the famous cathedral of Champagne, the hotel La Caserne Chanzy is a former fire station built in the Art Deco style. By staying in this establishment, which was historically the first fire station in Reims, you will (re)discover the French art of living and live a wonderful sensory experience.
Indeed, everything here is designed to excite your 5 senses, starting with your room. Decorated in an elegant and refined style, it will immediately plunge you into a world of its own. You will then go to the Deep Nature Spa to treat yourself to timeless moments that will do you the world of good. This space of more than 450 m² offers you a pool with hydromassage jets, a sauna, a hammam and a fitness room. In addition, a 45-minute duo treatment will be given in one of the 5 treatment rooms.
When it's time for dinner, you will be welcomed at the restaurant La Grande Georgette. Chef Julien Raphanel will concoct a delicious menu for you, consisting of a starter, two courses and a dessert (excluding drinks). There is no need to say. LA CASERNE CHANZY
The Caserne Chanzy is the first Autograph Collection address of the Marriott International group to open in Reims. Located on the square in front of Notre-Dame Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this hotel, spa and restaurant offers its guests an exceptional location.
The hotel building is a place full of history. Inaugurated in 1926, it housed the fire station of the city of Reims for nearly 70 years. In 2019, after several years of abandonment, the building became La Caserne Chanzy. Spread over 5,500 m2, the former fire station is part of the Art Deco architectural heritage that marks the reconstruction of Reims in the 1920s.
The Chanzy Barracks houses a hotel with 89 rooms, half of which offer a breathtaking view of the Cathedral. Its restaurant, La Grande Georgette, takes its name from a tradition that existed at the end of the 1920s: to give the large scale the first name of the wife of the captain of the barracks. The Deep Nature Spa is a real jewel box of softness, with a hydromassage pool, a sauna, a hammam, a fitness room and five treatment rooms.
