Want to make a mini photo album? Camille, an artistic bookbinder in Nancy, will introduce you to her craft.
When you walk through the door at 35 rue de la Commanderie in Nancy, you’ll discover Camille’s bookbinding workshop. She’ll introduce you to her craft and the techniques of this ancient art. Trained in fine bookbinding at the École Tolbiac and holder of the Brevet des Métiers d’Art certification, Camille will introduce you to a bookbinder’s tools and machinery: the paper cutter, the shears, the impact press, the end-gluing vise…
Throughout each stage of the process, Camille will guide you to create your own personalized mini photo album (leporello). She’ll also provide all the tools and materials you need to bring your personalized project to life.
You’ll have the opportunity to engage closely with Camille. You’ll discover her passion for her craft and her commitment to preserving our cultural heritage. Her appreciation for beauty, her knowledge of her neighborhood, Nancy, and its Art Nouveau heritage will be at the heart of your discussions.
You’ll leave with your mini photo album, which you can take with you wherever you go.

L'Arbre à Pages - Camille AUBERT
The Atelier-Boutique de Reliure d'Art "L'Arbre à Pages" located in Nancy (5 minutes from the train station) specializes in the design of high-end photo albums and guest books.
Come and meet Camille, who creates real jewel cases for your photographs and tokens of sympathy. In leather, paper or canvas, flexible or rigid, with hot stamping and box on request... Each creation is unique!
Camille also offers all types of bookbinding, traditional or contemporary, as well as a range of stationery (notebooks, sketchbooks, travel journals, notepads...) and cardboard (various boxes & cases, photo holders, chequebook protectors, coasters...) that can be personalized.
Whether it's a one-off or a small series, each request will be the subject of a free study and personalized quotation. All her bindings and boxes are entirely hand-made. Feel free to browse her online boutique, or make an appointment with her for your personal projects.
Open Tuesday to Thursday, 2pm to 5:30pm and Friday, 2pm to 5pm.
