Discover a craft at the Moulin de la Fleuristerie

Take a step back in time at the Moulin de la Fleuriste, an estate located in a small village of Orges in the Haute-Marne region of France, where the owner offers you a guided tour of this center, which is now the only one in France to make floral creations for Haute Couture and decoration.

The exploration begins in the old coal shed which is now used as a reception room. While your guide tells you the history of the mill, take time to contemplate this beautiful building made of stone walls and large frames. You will still see some black spots that testify to the former activity. On your way out, take a look at the huge paddle wheel that has been turning for a hundred years and continues to produce electricity.

Your host then introduces you to this art craft by taking you through the different workshops of the mill. As you walk among all these machines dating back to the 19th century, he explains with passion how to make petals and leaves from a cookie cutter. A unique opportunity to discover what a mistletoe and a cutting table are.
To end the visit in beauty, the owner takes you to the store where you can buy small souvenirs.
