Have you ever heard of Maison DE BARFONTARC? This cooperative brings together some fifty winegrowers who cultivate a 125-hectare estate to offer champagne lovers and connoisseurs a unique product. But that's not all. The company is also keen to share its love of its terroir. It's with this in mind that she offers this wine tourism activity.

Explanations of the terroir and the winemaking process. This is what awaits you during this activity. Your picnic lunch will consist of a cold terroir meal, prepared by a partner restaurant, and Héritage Brut, Caractère Blanc de Noirs or Caractère Blanc de Blancs and Caractère Rosé champagnes.

And if ever the weather turns fickle, rest assured, your picnic won't go to waste. A shelter is provided for that purpose.

CHAMPAGNE DE BARFONTARC

In 1962, some fifty winegrowers from the Aube villages of Baroville, Fontaine and Arconville on the Côte des Bar joined forces to create the "Coopérative Vinicole de la Région de Baroville". Initially a pressing center, the Cooperative grew to produce its own brand of champagne, "DE BARFONTARC". Located in Baroville, it still brings together the same winegrowers, who cultivate 112 ha of vines in 7 surrounding villages, and employs around twenty people year-round.
